PATHE
Scottish visit
At the end of May this year the USEP delegation
of Jean Claude Arnaud and Pascale Portenart from
the French Sport for All organisation USEP visited
Scotland on the invitation from SALSC. Although
the visit was only a brief one, former SALSC International,
now Member Services Vice-Chair George Morton,
Ian Lynchanon, Chair of the Member Services Group
and Colleen Tait (an interpreter from the Youth
Committee) ensured there was little time to sit
down as the delegation were taken on a whistle
stop tour of the West of Scotland along the way
visiting member sports councils, including South
Ayrshire Sports Council and local authorities
to explain the system in France and learn from
our experiences.
